	Russ Bailey, PT, MBA
	Chief Executive Officer
	Russ has been with HealthSouth in various roles within the Dallas/Ft Worth market since 1998, but joined the North Houston staff as CEO and Area Manager of Houston in November of 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Florida and a master’s degree from Troy State University. Russ is passionate about rehabilitation and being a part of a team which impacts people’s lives daily.

	Benjamin Agana, M.D.
	Medical Director
	Specializing in the management of rehabilitation services for patients at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Houston, Dr. Benjamin Agana helps individuals who have suffered from disabling conditions, such as strokes or orthopedic injuries, rebuild their lives. Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Agana also has a Subspecialty Board Certification.

	Joseph Becker
	Director of Therapy Operations
	Prior to being named director of therapy operations for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Houston, Joseph was a member of the inpatient therapy team. While a member of the team, he completed his Neuro-IFRAH certification and became proficient with the latest in rehabilitation technology, such as the Bioness L300 and AutoAmbulator. Prior to joining HealthSouth, Joseph worked as director of therapy for an outpatient sports clinic in Clearlake and Pasadena, Texas. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin University and earned a master's degree in physical therapy from Texas Woman's University in 2001.

	Larry Stepanski
	Director of Plant Operations
	Larry began his career in plant operations in 1982 at acute care hospitals and later transferred to LTAC hospitals. He recently joined HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Houston. Larry is married with two beautiful daughters and is a native Houstonian. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and off-roading with a local jeep club.

Rosemary Baumgardner

Director of Pharmacy

Baumgardner has practiced pharmacy for more than a quarter century. She is licensed in four states and has worked in various pharmacy practices including retail pharmacy, nursing home consulting, teaching and hospital pharmacy. She has bachelor's degree from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy.

	Eleanor Pascual
	Director of Quality and Risk Management
	With more than a quarter century of nursing experience in acute and non-acute care hospital settings, Eleanor has practiced both in the Far East and United States. She has served in various roles including overseeing infection control, staff development, wound care and credentialing departments and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from St Luke's College of Nursing in the Philippines. Eleanor is bilingual and an active member of the Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management, The National Alliance for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.

Danielle Rodriguez

Chief Nursing Officer

Danielle has been with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Houston since 1999 and has held a variety of positions within the hospital. She has served multiple roles in the nursing department, progressing from LVN to nursing supervisor. In 2007, she was promoted to director of quality and risk management and was responsible for overseeing the medical records, credentialing, infection control and employee health departments. In June 2009, Danielle was given the opportunity to rejoin the nursing department as chief nursing officer. Danielle is currently working on a master's degree from Kaplan University.

	Valerie Wells
	Director of Human Resources
	Valerie brings more than 14 years of Health Care Human Resources experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Houston. A Houston native, she graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee. She began her career with HealthSouth in Martin, Tennessee and has been a member of the HealthSouth North Houston Team since 2007.

	Judi Thayer
	Director of Case Management
	Judi's experience includes more than 13 years with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Houston. Originally from Spring, Texas, Judi received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Prairie View A&M and obtained her CCM Certification in 2001.
